Who Can Join

Any bona-fide Independent Labour Union or Employees Association may become a candidate for affiliation by filing an application with the Executive Officers of the Canadian National Federation of Independent Unions.

Also, non-union employees wishing to form their own independent Union or Employee Association within their workplace can organize through CNFIU. CNFIU will assist you to form your own local union and create by-laws as well as offer legal advice and assistance with preparing and submitting all the necessary documents with the Labour Relations Board.
