The Vince Vocal Scholarship Fund is open to all members, immediate family members and grandchildren of members of the Canadian National Federation of Independent Unions, who are attending or have been accepted to a full-time post-secondary institution in Canada.
A one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) scholarship will be awarded every year during the month of July.
A 500-1000 word essay explaining “The Benefits of Unions” shall be submitted for consideration by the Scholarship Selection Committee.
The essay, along with the scholarship application form, is to be forwarded to the Canadian National Federation of Independent Unions, to the attention of the Education Co-Ordinator at 526 Winona Road N., Suite 200, Stoney Creek, Ontario L8E 5E9. The application form is available at www.cnfiu.com.
Applications must be submitted by April 30th of each year.
The scholarship recipient will be chosen by the Scholarship Selection Committee to be appointed by the Executive Board of the Canadian National Federation of Independent Unions.
